FRIENDS:

Hey everyone. I just went to GameStop on Sunday the 20th this month and guess which game I purchased? If you guessed,
Mario Tennis Open, you are absolutely correct. I went to go pick it up and it was $37.79 in all. When I was there, there wasn't even a long line of customers, so I finally received the game as being one of the first to get that game, because the day I got the game was when it was released to retailers; but certainly not the very first customer to get that game at that GameStop store, but I'm not telling you the number of the store, since it's personal. This game is going to be pretty fun. In this game, you can play as the characters canon to the series (which also includes Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong from the
Donkey Kong sub-series), or as your own Mii and your Mii can wear regular Mii outfits based on the color schemes of each corresponding character or in costumes like the Yoshi and Bowser ones, and another feature innovative to the
Mario Tennis series is the Wi-Fi if you want to play against your opponent across the world or somewhere distant. Interestingly, Princess Daisy now wears an athletic skirt based on her current dress, and that it makes a true match to Princess Peach's athletic skirt. About the only character from
Mario Tennis for the Nintendo 64 to return in this game is Baby Mario. Also, some of the characters' tennis rackets had their emblems changed: Wario's was originally with the purple letter W in
Mario Tennis (N64/GBC) and
Mario Power Tennis, but now has his nose and zig-zag mustache; and Baby Mario's originally had a small letter M in order to differentiate from his adult self whose signature emblem was the capital M, but now his emblem has the capital M like his adult self, but with bonnet frills around the letter. I'm so glad to get this game, and will play it anytime.
Also, in the future, I hope that there will be a
Mario Golf game for the 3DS possibly under a similar name like
Mario Golf Open or something like that (since the
Mario Golf and
Mario Tennis series were both developed by CAMELOT, except for the similar games like
NES Open Tournament Golf and
Mario's Tennis). If they ever decide to make another
Mario Golf game, I hope that they have Peach and Daisy wearing their athletic skirts like this game I bought, but should introduce something like the characters driving golf carts when they travel hole-to-hole, because I think it would be interesting to see Mario and his friends driving golf carts.
